Since I have dual 4090 FE's, I would like to share the great Undervolting results ! I'm not a pro and don't earn profits with my workstation, so I can't earn back my powerconsumption.
The 4090 FE is rated at 450W, but that can go up if you want to.
Default settings GPU 1 :
* mem temp : 54 degrees Celsius
* Watts : 211W
Default settings GPU 2 :
* mem temp : 56 degrees Celsius
* Watts : 207W
* total system draw : 920 Watt
* rendertime : 27.2 seconds (without preparation-time)
Undervolt settings GPU 1 :
* 850 mV/2470Mhz
* mem temp : 50 degrees Celsius
* Watts : 163W
Undervolt settings GPU 2 :
* 875 mV/2500Mhz
* mem temp : 48 degrees Celsius
* Watts : 148W
* total system draw : 717 Watt
* rendertime : 28.4 seconds (without preparation-time)
Comparison UnderVolt vs Default :
* 28,4 seconds vs 27,4 seconds
* 717 watt vs 920 watt !
For about 200 watt LE$$, I can achieve about the same result with an added bonus of 4 to 6 degrees cooler GPU's.
Over time, that's a huge win-win !!
